It's back, after little to no word after xcom released it's first game in the year of 1994 , xcom was a massive success. Now they returned with a remake of the game, and an even greater challenging strategy game then the first. The release date was October 12,2012. In the game like most alien games your home planet is invaded and it is now you top priority to send them back from wince they came. You play as commander of a small 6 man squad a great change from the 28 man squad in the first game, but that makes it all the more challenging.Throughout the game you need to think carefully, rushing will just end in defeat for Xcom. As you progress it's your job to upgrade armor and weapon's against the enemy. Along gameplay it is a turn based strategy game, where the wrong choose could end a soldier's life. I , on my personal opinion, think this is a great challenging game even for the most experienced gamers of strategy games, and will take plenty of enjoyable hours for you to complete your first run through of the game. However,this is as i stated early a slow, time consuming game so think wisely before making your decision. In the end though for all of those that enjoy, a good exciting game that never stops challenging you, then this is a most have of the end of 2012.

Assassin's Creed 3

The fourth installment of this third person free - roam games has just been released a few days ago on October 30, 2012. In this fourth installment of this series by Ubisoft you play as a new character, Connor , a half British half Native American boy is born in a village in the 13 colonies, and things go sour when the village is destroyed and his mother killed in the flames. From then on he vow's to bring justice and to protect his people, and end's up helping to fight one of the greatest series of events in U.S history. The game however keeps it usual mystery to it but also keeps to a sense of realism in which they introduce whole new architecture of buildings based on the time period, as well as introducing other things such as a new controls system, using actual native American tribe languages, and all new weapons based on the time period, and so much more as well as in the online multiplayer such as lone wolf or domination mode. In views of ratings most have given it a 9.5 out of 10 stars when reviewing it and I agree. In ways this game is the dawn of a whole new way of gaming designing, and if you are a Assassin's Creed fan or a fan of diverse world's in which you could spent weeks playing into,but still having so much more to do then this would be a excellent choose to get so far one of the top games this year for the holidays that are fast approaching.

A longer time ago in a galaxy far away...

Star Wars the Old Republic

The newest and in my view greatest star wars MMO currently out on the market ( also it is the only one). The game originally  was set to come out in the year of 2009, however the release date was postponed for a later date          ( December 20, 2011). The game, a shared accomplishment between both EA and Bioware the games was one of the biggest game releases ever with over one million people signing up to play the opening week. The game rated [T] for teens, takes place 3000 years before any of the movies take place but do have ties with the older Star Wars franchise Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic. To play the game, however it requires a fifteen dollar monthly fee, but as it turns out news has been released of the optional ability to play for free. Now to the gameplay, the game allows you to choose from 8 customizable characters each with their own special set of perks and skills, along with completely different and unique storyline's for each and every character. You're main purpose is to carve your own path throughout the Star Wars universe. Though many things have changed some a disappointment, many of the new changes have brought a completely different way of view the Star Wars universe. I myself am currently subscribed to this game and am thoroughly impressed, and still more and more improvements and updates are being made to the game. For those that enjoy teaming up with friends or if they simply enjoy slashing people with a lightsaber or force chocking enemy's if they get on your nerve than this is a game I would highly suggest trying the limited free trial that they currently offer to anyone is uncertain about if they would want to subscribe to this game. below are two links one of which heads to the Star Wars the Old Republic franchise website in which all upcoming news or updates can be found.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY

             Rocksteady Studios have outdone themselves in the epic sequel  to Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City follows the storyline of the previous game, and keeps some of the same designs such as it being a third person hand to hand combat video game. With stunning graphics and a mind blowing story line in which you as Batman must discover and stop Doctor Hugo Strange's plan that is only known as Protocol 10. This mind blowing game has earned a 9.5 out of 10 ratings. But even with all of the origional designs in to the game they had to esert new things such as new weapons, a greater variety of side missions,  a new storyline, and a few DLC or expansion to the game. Although this is a incredible game, none are perfect , some flaws to this game such as troubles when it first came such as not being able to access exclusive content and many other flaws. All in all for my personal opinion is that I see this as one of the better fist to fist combat games in the past decade. I have never been a fan of fist to fist combat games, however this game is one of the few exceptions to that statement. Leave a comment below if you want me to do a certain game in the future.

Welcome to gaming riot

          In this blog I plan discussing some of the top games that are at high demand for the time being, however in this first post i plan on simply introducing you to what i plan on accomplishing. I plan on doing my best to make this into a unique blog that sticks with one topic though a interesting one until some time in the future.
